Thousands of people flocked to the annual Border Union Show, which offers a great day out for all ages, with lots of animals, foods, amusements, shopping and demonstrations.
And this year the third sector again had a big presence at the show, with stands staffed by community groups, charities and social enterprises.
The show an ideal opportunity for organisations, national and local, big and small, to promote the valuable work that they do and to raise much-needed funds. Among the many taking part this year were the local MS Society, Guide Dogs, Dyslexia Scotland and Rotary International.
