Veterinary charity the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) is in the Borders next week, offering free well-being checks for dogs and advice on the care of popular pets.
Dogs will receive a free five-point pet check covering behaviour, companionship, diet, environment and health. A small range of FREE preventive services will be available, including nail clipping and ear cleaning.
A PDSA vet nurse will deliver PDSA’s ‘PetWise’ MOT for every dog on the following dates:
- Tuesday 26th September, 11am-6pm – Duns Square, Duns
- Wednesday 27th September, 11am-6pm – Kingsmeadow Road Car Park, Peebles
- Thursday 28th September, 11am-6pm – Focus Community Centre, Galashiels
- Friday 29th September, 9am-4pm – Wilton Lodge Park, Hawick.
Microchipping will also be available, at a cost of £10.
While the PetCheck service is free, the PDSA would appreciate any donations that you can afford.
Just call 0800 917 2509 for your appointment – it’s first-come-first-served.
