Local residents are being encouraged to fill in Scottish Borders Council’s household survey for 2018.
The survey, which is available to complete online and in paper format, asks people about their lives in the Borders, as well as how satisfied they are with the council and the services it provides.
Councillor Sandy Aitchison, Executive Member for Neighbourhoods and Locality Services (pictured), said: “Whether you have lived here for one year or many years, use only a few or a number of our services, we want to hear about your experience of living in the region and how well you think we are doing.
“Completing the survey is just one of the ways in which you can play #yourpart and help us plan what we do with the resources that are available.”
Results of the survey, which will be available in the autumn, will help the council to shape future services.
This will be the first time that the survey will not be sent directly to a selection of households. Anyone who lives in the area can complete it.
If you don’t want to fill it in online, paper copies will be available from libraries and council contact centres, or you can contact Scottish Borders Council and ask for a copy to be posted to you.
Visit the council website to fill in the survey online.
You can get a paper copy by contacting the Community Engagement Team at or on 01835 826626
