Two Borders groups are among the latest organisations to receive grants from the National Lottery’s Awards for All Scotland.
A total of 115 groups, from Lerwick to Dumfries, are sharing in £794,384 from Awards for All Scotland, which makes grants from £300 to £10,000 to voluntary and community groups across the country.
Lauderdale Scout Group has received £9,760 to carry out refurbishment works to its scout hall, improving the space for wider community use.
Peebles Old Parish Church Of Scotland has been awarded £6,500 to start a weekly crafts club for people in the parish who either suffer from, or who are caring for, people with memory loss and dementia.
