The Scottish Government is consulting about the absence of European Union funds after the UK exits the EU. This change could have a major impact on the third sector and Borders groups have an opportunity to have their say in what happens next.
Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway has been asked by South of Scotland Economic Partnership to consult with the sector in the South of Scotland and produce a response based on the consultation.
The consultation will be in two parts: a tailored version of the Scottish Government survey followed by focus groups, including one in Hawick on Wednesday 29th January.
You can complete the survey online – deadline is Monday 13 January. The survey is based on the Scottish Government’s consultation on this subject and has been tailored for the South of Scotland’s third sector.
The term replacement fund refers to the funding that may be introduced by the UK and/or Scottish Governments in place of the EU structural funds
If you would like to take part in the focus group in Hawick, find out more and book on Eventbrite.
