The Scottish Borders third sector Youth Work Partnership has received funding from the Big Lottery Fund to employ project youth workers and a project coordinator in locations across the Scottish Borders.
The Partnership is made up of lead locality-based generic youth groups and YouthBorders and has come together for the Stepping Stone project to support children and young people within third sector youth group settings.
The Big Lottery Fund has invested in the posts over the next three years with its Improving Lives Grant.
Recruitment is now under way for Youth Support Workers in Earlston, Selkirk and Hawick and surrounding areas. The Partnership is also seeking a Project Coordinator to be based in Galashiels
